In an adjournment motion in September, Mr Chua noted how the demand-supply imbalance in the property market is at the root of obstacles homebuyers are met with in their home ownership journeys. He emphasised the importance of ensuring that housing is attainable for everyone including singles, such that it is ‘inclusive’ and reflective of the diversity in Singapore’s society.
