What new HDB categories mean for first-timer families (parents & married couples)

With the new Standard, Plus, and Prime labels for flats set to kick in from the second half of 2024, first-timers (parents and married couples) in the priority category would no longer be limited to units in what were traditionally classified as non-mature housing estates.


Homebuyers in this particular priority category would get three chances at the ballot, for BTO and Sale of Balance flats.
