Renting a home is probably not what many would deem ideal in Singapore. After all, properties are assets which would provide one an edge in growing their wealth. However, there is no one way of living your life, and renting might just be what you need.
Moving out could offer you a greater degree of freedom than that which you would be able to enjoy at home. Additionally, while living with a partner is not necessarily the decisive test of your relationship many would think it to be, it is an experience in itself, rather than just a stepping stone.
Of course, there are downsides to renting a home. For one, you probably wouldn’t be able to modify or renovate the space to your liking. You also can’t tap into your CPF to pay your rental fees.
