More BTO flats to be set aside for first-timer applicants

Applying for a BTO flat for the first time?
Your chances of getting your first home in non-mature estates would now be higher, following recent adjustments made to the allocation quota.
At least 85% of the 3-room BTO flats, and a minimum of 95% of 4-room and larger BTO supply will be set aside for first-timer families. This has gone up from an allocation quota of 70% for 3-room BTO flats, and 85%, units with more rooms.
The proportion of 2-room flexi flats that would be allocated for first-timer single applicants has also increased from 50% to 65%.
The accessibility of subsidised housing remains of utmost importance, with public housing schemes and grants providing support for homeownership journeys.
