Prices of HDB resale flats grew at a relatively restrained rate, down from 2.3% in the last quarter of 2022, to 0.9% in Q1 this year.

While this may be indicative of price resistance, against the backdrop of an increased supply of BTO market among other factors, interest in the resale market does not appear to be waning.

The number of flats that changed hands within the same period increased by 5.8%, with more homebuyers opting for four-room flats or smaller ones. That said, a record-breaking 21 four-room flats were sold for at least a million dollars.

Just last month, however, a new round of cooling measures— the third since that in December 2021— was implemented just last month. How would that affect your plans to buy a home? Get in touch with us at Wonder Homes, to find out more!
