77% of Singaporeans prefer to live in green buildings

A survey conducted by Schneider Electric found that Singaporeans are increasingly inclined towards living in green buildings. The number went up from 47% last year to 77%, alongside a noted environmental consciousness.


From the incorporation of recycled materials and water conservation techniques into the architectural design to deploying energy-efficient systems, green buildings exemplify a greater degree of consonance between modern living and nature.


Green housing loans— mortgage packages that serve as a form of reward for those purchasing a sustainable property— would be the cherry on top of the cake.
